For years, I suffered from Imposter Syndrome, battling crippling self doubt. Despite my outward success in the international Luxury fashion industry and recognition as an award winning leader, inwardly I struggled with crippling self-doubt and anxiety. Toxic relationships and a relentless pursuit of perfection only exacerbated these feelings, leading to Burnout and Hormonal Imbalance and illness.
It wasn’t until I could no longer ignore the patterns that kept repeating themselves in my life and returned to my hometown that I realised the importance of self-care and authenticity. Packing up my materially rich and emotionally barren life was the nicest thing I had ever done for myself (even though I didn’t realise that yet).
Later on and after my own therapy journey, I realised that It was a pivotal moment of clarity, a turning point in my journey of self-discovery.
I had done the hardest thing and made a choice to be vulnerable, to peel back the layers, to understand who I truly was. I couldn’t have done it alone, and you don’t have to either.
